How many times ultrasound during pregnancy?

My gynac has already asked me for 2 scans and im in 5th month. Just wondering how many are normal in total because i keep hearing different numbers from everyone. How many did u all have?

I had a high risk pregnancy so I got many more scans than usual to monitor baby. So honestly the number depends fully on your case. Just follow whatever your gynac advises for you.

Haan mostly 3 4 scans hote hain agar sab normal hai na. Mere case me bhi yahi tha. Bas anomaly scan time pe karwa lena, woh zaroori hai.

Mine were 4 in total and each cost a fair bit, so I planned them in my budget. If your doctor suggests more, ask why, sometimes its just routine. The anomaly scan is the important one dont skip that.

My doctor did the standard ones, a dating scan, the NT scan around 11 to 13 weeks, the anomaly scan around 20 weeks and a growth scan in third trimester. So around 3 to 4 if everything is normal. She said extra ones only if needed.
