Im in my first trimester and my gynac has already done one scan. Just wondering kitne baar it actually happens in full 9 months, dont want to do extra unnecessarily. Anyone who has delivered, how many scans did u get done?
Look, standard is usually around 4 scans—dating scan, NT scan, anomaly scan, and growth scan. Don't stress too much about the number, just go with a good gynac in a proper hospital and let them guide you.
My doctor explained this clearly to me during my first trimester. Minimum 3 to 4 are compulsory, like the NT scan in 12th week and anomaly in 20th week, but if there are any complications, they might do more for tracking. It's totally safe for the baby, so don't worry about the counts.
Hamare yahan toh doctor ne bola 4 baar zaroori hota hai poore pregnancy mein. Sab theek rahega beta, bas doctor ki baat sunna aur time pe checkup ke liye jana.
I am still trying to conceive, but my sister said they usually do around 4 to 5 scans to check everything. It feels so beautiful but thoda nervous too thinking about it. Hopefully we both get our good news soon.
Honestly, I was vomiting so much in my first trimester that I had to get an extra scan to check if baby was okay. Normally 4-5 scans are standard, but if u have severe nausea like me, sometimes they check more. Keep yourself hydrated, everything will be fine!
Actually I just had my 3rd scan done in week 18 and I was so scared before going. My doctor said next one will be around 7th or 8th month. Did you guys also get super anxious before every ultrasound?
