How many ultrasound scans are safe during pregnancy?
My doctor has scheduled a few ultrasound scans for me, and I'm a bit concerned about how many are safe. Is there a limit to how many ultrasounds one can have during pregnancy? I want to ensure my baby is safe.
Honestly, I had around 7 or 8 scans because of some initial spotting. My doctor assured me they use sound waves and are totally safe for the baby. I just followed whatever my doctor suggested and didn't count.
Hamare yahan toh doctor 3 ya 4 main scans hi karte hain—ek shuruat mein, ek anamoly scan, aur ek delivery se pehle. Ye bilkul safe hote hain beta, baby ko koi harm nahi hota. Ghabrana mat.
Routine scans are very safe and necessary to check baby's growth. But if you ever feel any severe cramping or spotting, don't wait for your next scan date, just go to your doctor immediately.
Even though ultrasounds are completely safe, the exact number depends on your pregnancy progress. It is always best to let your gynac decide how many scans you need. Don't skip any scan that your doctor recommends.
I have read that normal pregnancies usually have around 3 to 5 scans. They are completely safe since they don't use harmful radiation. I hope you have a beautiful and safe pregnancy journey ahead!
