My doc has already done 3 scans and im only in 5th month. Mummy says itna baar ultrasound theek nahi hai for the baby. Is this number normal or on the higher side?
Beta, usually 3-4 scans are enough to see if the baby is growing well. Just eat healthy home-cooked meals, drink warm milk, and trust what your doctor recommends.
I'm still trying to conceive, but from what my sister told me, about 3 to 4 scans are standard. I really hope to experience that first scan soon, it must be so special.
I just delivered last month and had 5 scans in total: the dating scan, NT scan, anomaly scan, growth scan, and a quick one before delivery. It is very standard and helps keep track of baby's weight.
I felt so emotional and happy every time we went for a scan to see our baby. We ended up having 4 ultrasounds in total, and each one was such a reassuring milestone for us.
I used to panic thinking too many scans would harm the baby, but it's totally safe. Usually, 3 to 5 scans are completely normal throughout the nine months unless there is a special medical reason.
The number of scans depends entirely on your health condition. Please check with your gynac, as they will prescribe the exact number of ultrasounds you need to ensure a safe pregnancy.
