I like walnuts but they feel heavy if I eat too many. My mom soaked some for me and now I am not sure about daily quantity. What amount did you keep, thoda or handful?
My nutritionist and gynac both recommended about 3-4 whole walnuts (or half a dozen halves) per day. They're rich in Omega-3s, which are great for baby's brain development. Just make sure they're fresh and not rancid.
Walnuts are very beneficial, especially for the baby's mind. My dadi always said eat 2-3 soaked walnuts every morning. It gives strength also. Just don't overdo it, everything in moderation.
Walnuts, yum! Honestly, I just grab a handful when I feel like snacking. My doc said a small handful is fine, like 4-5. At this point, if it's not chocolate, I'm already winning!
For twins, I felt like I needed double of everything, haha! But seriously, my doctor said about 4-5 walnuts are a good daily amount. They're a healthy fat and easy to munch on. Just ensure you're not allergic, of course!
