I know staying hydrated is important during pregnancy, but I'm a bit confused about how much water I should actually be drinking every day. Can someone suggest a good amount?
I just delivered last month and trust me, drinking plenty of water is a must, especially in last trimester. Keep a bottle handy because u will feel thirsty all the time, and it helps with postpartum recovery too.
My mother-in-law always told me to drink warm water from a clay pot to keep the body cool, which was very comforting. But my doctor advised drinking at least 2.5 to 3 liters daily, so I followed that.
U don't need fancy electrolyte drinks, just keep a simple 1-liter bottle with u and finish it thrice a day. Adding some lemon or mint makes it easier to drink if u have nausea.
I was so scared of dehydration and low fluid levels that I kept a tracker on my phone! Pls try to have at least 3 liters of water, it helps avoid UTI which can be very scary during pregnancy.
I can't speak for everyone, but during my pregnancy, I drank about 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. It really helped reduce my leg cramps and kept my digestion smooth.
My saas used to keep a big copper bottle next to my bed and made sure I finished at least three of those daily! Honestly, aim for around 10-12 glasses, it really helps with constipation.
