Newly pregnant and honestly so confused with all this trimester counting. My friend says im in second already but I feel like im still early. Can someone break it down simply pls.
My pregnancy app divided it exactly, first trimester ends at 12 weeks, second around 27, third goes till delivery. The app reminded me of each phase, was super handy.
My doctor explained it like this: first trimester is week 1 to 12, second is 13 to 26, and third is 27 till delivery around 40. Total roughly 40 weeks counted from last period.
