How many weeks pregnancy can be detected by ultrasound?
Tested positive last week and im so excited to see something on the scan. At how many weeks does the ultrasound actually show the baby ya heartbeat? Dont wanna go too early and feel disappointed.
Actually yaar, early scan 6th week mein ho jata hai, but 7-8 weeks is the best time for a clear heartbeat scan. Gynac start mein vaginal scan karti hai because baby bohot chota hota hai tab.
My toddler is 2 now, but I still remember seeing her heartbeat at exactly 7 weeks. Don't rush for an ultrasound too early at 5 weeks, sometimes nothing is visible then and it just causes unnecessary panic.
Around 6 to 7 weeks is the sweet spot to see the tiny heartbeat! Don't stress too much if your doc schedules it a bit later, they just want to make sure they get a clear picture.
Usually, a transvaginal ultrasound can detect the tiny sac around 5-6 weeks, and the heartbeat around 7 weeks. Since I had a loss earlier, my doctor did the first scan at 7 weeks to be absolutely sure, so please wait until then for peace of mind.
I was reading about this too! Is it true that we have to wait till 6 or 7 weeks to see anything clearly? It must be so exciting to see that first little dot on the screen.
