Delivered 8 days back, normal delivery. The bleeding is still going on and i cant tell if its too much or okay. Some days its heavy some days less. How long did it last for you all?
After my c-section I also had bleeding for a few weeks, it reduced slowly. The thing they told me was watch out if u suddenly pass big clots or it becomes very heavy again, then call hospital.
I delivered 6 weeks back, the bleeding (they call it lochia) was heavy first few days then slowly became light brown and stopped. It can go on for some weeks actually, totally normal.
Some bleeding for weeks is normal but pls dont ignore if its soaking a pad in an hour or u feel dizzy or get fever. That happened a bit with me and doc wanted to check. Better to call than worry alone.
Few weeks of bleeding after delivery is normal, gets lighter day by day. Use the big maternity pads, change often, rest properly. Heavy fresh bleeding suddenly is the only thing to report.
Beta its normal to bleed for some weeks, body is healing. Just keep an eye that it keeps reducing not increasing. Rest well and dont lift heavy things ok.
