Im around 7 weeks and noticing more white discharge than usual. No smell or itching but still im not sure how much is normal in these early days. Anyone else experienced this?
Haan, early pregnancy mein discharge thoda badh jaata hai. Normally, it's just clear or milky. Wearing cotton underwear helps keep things breathable. But if it becomes thick, cheesy, smells bad, or causes itching/burning, then please don't delay. That could be an infection and you should definitely talk to your gynac right away. Don't try home remedies for infections!
An increase in clear to milky white discharge is often normal in early pregnancy. However, if the discharge changes color (green, yellow, grey), becomes thick and lumpy, has a strong unpleasant odor, or is accompanied by itching, burning, or pain, these could be signs of an infection or other issue. For any such changes, please consult your gynac immediately to ensure safety.
It is quite common to have some discharge in early pregnancy, it's just your body adjusting. As long as it is clear or whitish and doesn't have a bad smell, you need not worry too much. Keep yourself clean and wear comfortable clothes. If you feel anything unusual or have any pain, then do consult your doctor for guidance and peace of mind.
I definitely had more discharge in my early pregnancy, and it continued throughout. It was usually thin and whiteish, and my doctor said it was completely normal. I just made sure to keep good hygiene. But if you're concerned, or if yours looks or feels different, it's always best to ask your own gynac to be sure.
In early pregnancy, it's actually quite common to have an increase in vaginal discharge. My doctor explained that it's usually thin, milky white, and has a mild odor, known as leukorrhea. It happens due to increased estrogen levels and blood flow to the vaginal area. As long as it's not itchy, foul-smelling, or unusual in color like green or yellow, it's generally considered normal.
