I read somewhere that the brain changes during pregnancy and now im a little freaked out because my memory has gone for a toss these days, i forget everything! Is this a real thing? Just curious how much it actually is.
Hahaha so this is the famous pregnancy brain! Honestly i forgot my own phone in the fridge once. Some studies say there are small temporary changes but it bounces back. Dont worry, you're not losing your mind, just blame the hormones.
I read there are small temporary changes linked to hormones, but nothing harmful, it recovers postpartum. The forgetfulness everyone jokes about is more from tiredness and poor sleep. If it really worries you, mention to your doc.
There is talk of minor brain changes in pregnancy but its temporary and your memory recovers after. Both times i felt foggy and forgetful, totally normal. Keep notes on your phone, that saved me.
The forgetfulness is real but its not actual damage, dont stress. I started using reminders and lists for everything at work during pregnancy. It evened out after the baby. Sleep helps the fog a lot honestly.
