I eat eggs almost daily for protein but now im second guessing if thats too much in pregnancy. Im in my second trimester. How many a day is fine? dont want to overdo it.
My gynac said one or two well cooked eggs a day is fine for most pregnant women as a good protein source. The main thing she stressed was that they must be fully cooked, no runny yolk. If u have any cholesterol issue she said check with her first.
I was obsessed with boiled eggs in my pregnancy, lol could eat them all day. Stuck to 2 a day and made sure they were properly cooked. Just dont go crazy like me with cravings.
I had GD so my diet was monitored closely, eggs were actually good for me as they dont spike sugar. But quantity I always checked with my dietician. Everyone's needs are different so go by ur own doctor's plan.
