How much folic acid should i take to conceive twins?
Twins run in my husband's family and honestly I would love to have twins. Heard somewhere that folic acid helps with twin chances? Not sure if thats true or just a myth yaar. Anyone tried this?
I remember wishing for twins too when I was trying to conceive! Now that my boy is a toddler, I realize one is more than enough work, haha. Folic acid is super important for a healthy baby, so just take the exact dose your doctor suggests.
Ghar pe you can start having leafy greens, citrus fruits, and organic pulses for natural folate. But for actual tablets, please don't experiment to get twins. Better to let your gynac decide the dosage.
Oh god, please don't take extra folic acid thinking it will give you twins! I used to overthink every little vitamin dose and learned that taking too much without a doctor's prescription can be risky. Just take what your gynac prescribes, okay?
According to all my pregnancy trackers, the standard pre-conception dose is 400 mcg daily. Twins depend on genetics and ovulation, not the folic acid dose. Definitely consult your doctor before increasing any supplements.
Double the trouble, huh? Folic acid is great, but it won't magically double your babies, otherwise everyone would have armies of twins! Just stick to what your doc tells you and enjoy the journey.
I am also trying to conceive and honestly feel so shy to ask these things. But I think folic acid is just to prevent birth defects, it doesn't help in having twins. Maybe ask your doc about the right dose for u.
Haha, twins means double the cravings and double the food! Honestly, folic acid won't magically give you twins, biology decides that. Just focus on your green leafy veggies and let your doctor handle the tablets.
