Twins run in my husbands family and honestly I would love to have twins someday. I keep reading that folic acid has some connection but not sure how true it is. Anyone here actually tried this or know more?
Folic acid you take for the baby's spine and brain development, the usual prescribed amount. Twins is not something a tablet decides. Stick to your doctor's dose only.
My doc explained folic acid is mainly to prevent neural tube defects, the standard dose she gave me was enough. The twin thing is mostly genetics or fertility treatments. Whatever amount, get it from your gynac na.
Haha i have twins and trust me i did NOT plan it with folic acid. It ran in my husbands family. Folic acid is for the baby's health, not a twin formula, dont buy into that.
Folic acid doesnt really make twins happen, thats more about genes and luck. But pls dont increase the dose on your own to try, take only what your gynac prescribes. Extra is not better.
