My saas keeps pushing me to drink milk like 3-4 times a day and tbh I cant handle that much, it makes me feel full and a little nauseous. Im in 4th month. How much is actually enough yaar?
In my first trimester, I felt so much aversion to milk that I used to cry when my mom brought it to me! But gradually I started having it with a little almond powder. Two small glasses a day made me feel like I was doing the best for my little one.
I remember how hard it was to gulp down milk when I had severe morning sickness, but I tried my best because I wanted my baby to grow strong bones. About two cups a day is great if you can manage it. You are doing such an amazing job, momma, don't pressure yourself.
Usually, 2 glasses of milk are recommended, but if you don't like plain milk, you can have curd, paneer, or buttermilk instead. It's all about getting enough calcium and protein. Just make sure the milk is always well-boiled or pasteurized.
Haan na, starting me milk smell can make you feel a bit yucky. But 1-2 glasses daily is very good for baby's bones. Agar plain doodh achha nahi lagta, toh badam powder ya thoda haldi daal ke pee lo.
Drinking 1 to 2 glasses of milk daily is usually perfect to get enough calcium for you and the baby. I used to have one warm glass with saffron in the morning and it really helped my strength later for breastfeeding. Don't force yourself if you feel nauseous though.
