My husbands semen report came and motility was on the lower side, doc explained but i still didnt fully understand the numbers. We are trying since 8 months. Can someone help me understand whats considered normal?

There are reference ranges but the doctor looks at the whole picture, not just one figure. Please get it interpreted by a specialist, dont stress over the number alone.
I wont throw numbers because I am not a doctor, but I will say when we had concerns the specialist explained the report properly and it helped us a lot. Get a proper consult, it makes things much clearer than googling figures.
There are normal ranges for motility but its only one part of the test, count and shape matter too. Rather than fixating on a single value, take the whole report to a good doctor who can guide the next steps. Dont lose hope over one number.
