I use jaiphal sometimes in milk and sabzi, but now im 4 months and not sure how much is ok during pregnancy. Dont want to overdo it. Anyone know how much is safe?
A tiny pinch of nutmeg in your kheer or warm milk is perfectly safe and actually tastes wonderful. But please avoid having it in large quantities or as a supplement because too much can be unsafe. Keeping everything in moderation is the key to a happy, healthy pregnancy!
Beta, jaiphal ki taaseer bahut garam hoti hai, isliye ise bahut dhyan se istemal karna chahiye. Ek choti chutki se zyada kabhi mat lena, aur roz-roz toh bilkul nahi. Garbhavastha me thoda dhyan rakhna hi samajhdari hai, baki sab daktar ki salah se hi karo.
Because I had a very complicated pregnancy journey, I became extremely cautious about every spice and herb. Nutmeg in large doses can actually trigger uterine contractions, which can be risky. I would strongly advise speaking to your doctor before adding spices like jaiphal to your regular diet.
Using just a tiny pinch of jaiphal in your warm milk at night is a great natural home remedy for better sleep. Just make sure you don't take more than that, as large amounts are not recommended. Of course, if you have severe insomnia or other symptoms, always consult your doctor instead of relying on home remedies.
A little sprinkle of nutmeg on your oatmeal is absolutely fine for flavor, but definitely avoid large amounts. Since my doctor allowed me to keep active with daily walks, I preferred focusing on simple, clean foods for energy. Always check with your gynac if you are unsure about any specific ingredient.
