How much protein in urine is normal during pregnancy?
Got my urine test done and there was a small trace of protein, now im a bit worried matlab is that ok or not. Im 28 weeks. Planning to ask my gynac at next visit but wanted to hear from u all also.
With our busy schedules, it is tempting to just Google test results, but that is a bad idea. Just email or WhatsApp the report to your gynac's team right away during your break. They will let you know if you need to come in or if it's completely normal.
Listen to me, don't panic after seeing the lab report. Sometimes a little bit of protein is just due to a minor urinary tract infection or mild dehydration, but only your gynac can tell you for sure. Send a photo of the report to your doctor today itself so you can rest easy.
I remember being so exhausted with heavy vomiting that even looking at my urine test reports made me dizzy. Protein levels can change, but it is really a medical detail that only your doctor should interpret. Please call your clinic and let them know the exact numbers.
Your peace of mind is so important during this beautiful journey. Please don't try to guess or google these medical values because it will only cause unnecessary worry. Let your gynac look at the protein levels so they can guide you safely.
Please don't ignore this report, dear. I have had a very difficult journey with a loss before, so I always tell moms to be extra careful. A trace amount of protein can sometimes be normal, but high levels can indicate blood pressure issues, so please show this report to your doctor immediately.
