My routine urine test showed a trace of protein and now im a little worried. Im in my second trimester. Gynac appointment is next week so i'll ask her but till then just wanted to understand, is a small amount normal or something to watch?
I had protein show up in my urine and they monitored my BP every visit after that. Its not something to self interpret from google. Show the report to ur doc, they will tell what the number means for u.
Please dont guess this one yaar. Protein in urine can be linked to BP issues in pregnancy and my doc watched mine very closely. If ur report shows it, take it straight to ur gynac, they read the exact value properly.
I wouldnt try to put an exact figure for u, it really depends and doctors look at the full picture. If its in ur test result, best to call ur gynac and confirm rather than worry from internet.
Honestly the lab report ka number matters and only ur gynac can say if its fine or needs watching. With both my pregnancies they checked it along with BP. Dont panic but dont ignore, just ask doc.
A small trace is often nothing, but the safe thing is to let ur gynac read it with ur BP and other reports together. Pls dont decide based on a number alone, get it checked.
Usually a trace amount can be normal, but anything beyond that they check carefully because it can connect to BP and pre eclampsia. My gynac always combined it with my BP reading. Definitely show ur actual report to ur doctor.
