Everyone says saffron is good during pregnancy, but I'm not sure how much is safe. Can anyone tell me what is the recommended or safe quantity of saffron to take daily?
If you are having kesar milk, please make sure not to add sugar to it, especially if you have to watch your sugar levels like I did. Just 2 strands of kesar in plain warm milk is perfectly fine and safe.
Even though saffron is natural, it can sometimes cause contractions if taken in large amounts. Please ask your gynac how many strands are safe for you and from which month to start.
I used to have 2 strands of saffron in my milk post my evening walks, which really helped me relax. But do check with your doctor before adding any regular herbs or supplements to your routine.
I just entered my 5th month and my mom sent me pure kesar, but I'm so scared to try it. Did anyone else feel anxious about adding new things to their diet? How did you start?
Taking 2 strands of kesar with milk while listening to peaceful music at night is wonderful for sleep. Just stay positive, pray, and take care of your health. God bless you and your little one.
Since I had PCOS, I was extra careful about everything I ate. I only started having 2 strands of saffron daily after my doctor gave the green light in the 5th month. It's better to be a bit cautious and not take too much.
I used to have just 2 strands in my milk every night during my second trimester, and my toddler is perfectly healthy. Don't worry too much about it, just don't overdo the quantity.
Mere ghar pe my MIL insisted on giving me kesar milk daily after the 5th month. She used to put exactly 2 or 3 strands because too much heat is not good for baby. Trust me, that limit is perfect.
Usually 2-3 strands of kesar in warm milk is more than enough. Don't take it in large quantities as it can cause body heat. It is best to start after the first trimester is over.
I just had my baby 3 months ago and had kesar milk almost daily in my third trimester. I stuck to just 2 strands per cup. Honestly, it really helped with my digestion and mood swings.
Honestly, I only drank kesar milk occasionally during my last trimester, maybe twice a week with just 2 strands. I didn't want to overdo it, so I kept it very minimal.
Beta, too much kesar can increase body heat, which is not good. Take only 2-3 strands in warm milk at bedtime, that too only after your fourth month begins. Always listen to your elders and keep it moderate.
