Weve been trying for almost a year now and my husband just got his report done. The numbers are confusing me and i dont know whats considered enough to actually conceive. Anyone been through this who can explain a bit?
Its not just the count yaar, quality and movement count a lot too. The best step is a proper semen analysis instead of worrying over numbers. And remember its a two person thing, not anyone's fault.
My doctor said a normal count is generally considered around 15 million per ml and above, but motility and shape matter too. Even lower counts can sometimes lead to pregnancy. A semen analysis is the proper way to know rather than guessing.
We struggled on this front and I know how heavy these questions feel. A simple test for the partner tells u the real picture. Whatever the number, there are options and support, so please dont lose heart.
