We are trying since almost a year and my husband finally got his report done. Now im just trying to understand what count is considered normal for chances of conceiving. If anyone has been through this pls share.
We struggled for a while and his count was on the lower side. Please dont lose hope, even with low count many couples conceive, sometimes with a little medical help. A fertility doctor can guide u properly with the actual numbers.
This question comes up a lot here. Honestly the simplest thing is a semen analysis test, it gives count, motility and shape all together. Dont rely on internet numbers, get it checked once and the doctor will tell u where u stand.
We are also planning and I had the same doubt actually. From what our gynac told us, it is not just one number, the whole report matters. Maybe book a consult, they explain it clearly.
When we were trying my husband got a semen analysis done. The doc said anything above 15 million per ml is considered normal range, but count alone isnt everything, motility matters too. Best to get the test done rather than guessing.
