We have been trying for a few months now without any luck and im starting to overthink everything. Im just curious how this actually works, no one really explains these things properly. Pls share if u know.
It only takes one sperm to fertilise the egg, but the body releases millions because the journey is hard and most dont make it. So a healthy sperm count matters for the chances, even though just one does the actual job.
Just one reaches and fertilises, but millions are released because so many die on the way. The count and quality affect how easily it happens. If there are concerns, a simple test at a lab gives the numbers, dont guess.
We were curious about this too. Apparently one is enough to actually make a baby, but healthy count and movement help a lot. We're just focusing on timing around ovulation for now.
From what I understood, technically one sperm fertilises the egg, but a good count improves the odds. If you're trying for a while with no luck, a semen analysis for the husband can tell a lot. We did that.
