I have thyroid since before and now that im pregnant my doc has asked to repeat the TSH test. Im not sure what level is considered ok during pregnancy. Anyone with thyroid here, what range did your gynac want?
The ideal range is a bit different in pregnancy and varies per trimester. Your endocrinologist or gynac will guide the exact target for you. Best not to rely on general numbers, get it checked.
I had thyroid during pregnancy and the target levels and dose are set by your doctor based on your blood reports. They tested me every few weeks and adjusted the medicine. Please dont go by a fixed number, regular follow ups are the key.
Thyroid needs close watching in pregnancy, so never change the dose on your own. My doc monitored mine carefully and all went well. Get your levels tested as often as your doctor says.
