My TSH report came and im not sure if the number is okay for pregnancy. I have hypothyroid from before. Will ask my doc obviously but wanted to know what range is considered normal during these months.
I totally panicked when my TSH came out to be 4.2 in my first trimester. But my doctor told me it's very common and put me on a tiny tablet, and everything became normal. Don't worry, it is very manageable!
Haan, pregnancy me thyroid levels badal jate hain, normal range is usually lower. Mere doctor ne bola tha 2.5 ke aas paas hona chahiye first trimester me. Apne report gynac ko jaroor dikha dena na.
I had to get mine checked too because I was feeling so tired (and hungry all the time!). Usually, they want it below 2.5. Once it's sorted, you can eat peacefully!
Usually, doctors look for a TSH level below 2.5 or 3 in pregnancy. Just get your blood test done empty stomach in the morning. Take the report to your gynac and they will tell if any small dose is needed.
My mom always said to keep track of these reports carefully in pregnancy. The normal range is different from non-pregnant times, usually under 2.5. Gynac will adjust it easily, so don't stress about it.
