How much time pregnancy takes?

First time pregnant and my MIL keeps saying 9 months but the doc counts in weeks which is confusing me na. So how long is it really, start to delivery? Bit lost with all the counting.

I keep counting weeks on my app, its 40 weeks total roughly. Honestly it feels so long sometimes. Did others also feel the second trimester flew by faster?

Around 40 weeks, so about 9 months.

Nine months beta, woh hi normal hai. Some babies come a little early or late, dont worry. Doctor will give u the due date.

A full pregnancy is about 40 weeks, counted from your last period. Roughly 9 months, give or take. Both my babies came around 39 weeks.
