I eat oranges and amla and also my prenatal has some vitamin C in it. Now Im confused kitna total chahiye in a day. Dont want to overdo it. anyone know the right amount?
With twins, my doc literally upped everything! So, for a single pregnancy, it's generally around 85mg, but seriously, everyone's needs are different. Your doctor will prescribe the prenatal vitamins that have the right amount for you. Don't try to figure it out yourself, that's what your gynac is for!
Vitamin C? Oh god, I was just trying to remember what day it was! Honestly, I just took whatever my gynac told me to. I barely had the energy to Google things. Don't guess, just ask your doctor, they'll give you the exact number. And then maybe you can tell me too, haha!
Generally, around 85 mg of Vitamin C per day is recommended for pregnant women. This can be met through your diet with citrus fruits, bell peppers, etc., and also through your prenatal vitamins. But every body is different, so it's best to confirm the exact amount with your gynac, as they know your history best.
For any specific dosage, especially vitamins during pregnancy, you absolutely must ask your gynac. Self-medication or relying on general advice can be risky. Your doctor knows your specific health needs and will prescribe the correct dosage for vitamin C, or tell you if you even need a supplement. Please consult them directly.
You can get plenty of Vitamin C from natural sources like amla, oranges, lemon water. But if you're asking about supplements, then please, please ask your doctor directly. They will tell you the exact dosage you need, if any. Don't take supplements without consulting your gynac, even vitamins.
