My MIL soaks walnuts for me every morning saying its good for baby brain. I have no idea how many is actually enough or too much. Anyone know the right amount to have daily?
A small handful of mixed nuts a day was my routine, including 2-3 walnuts. No need to overload, nuts are heavy. Variety is better than stuffing one type.
I had to watch my food closely so I kept nuts to a small measured handful. Walnuts are good but portion matters, especially if sugar is a concern. Best to confirm your amount with the doctor if you have any such condition.
Beta in our homes they soak 2-3 akhrot overnight and eat in morning, easier to digest that way. A few daily is plenty. But if you have any health issue do confirm the amount with doctor.
My amma gave me a few soaked walnuts each morning, said good for baby. I kept it small, just 2 or 3. If you have gas or weight concerns, check the quantity with your doctor na.
I asked my dietitian and she said a small handful of nuts total per day is enough, walnuts being a few of them. She said dont eat a big bowl thinking more is better, they are calorie dense. Balanced amount is the point.
