I used to stress whether I drank too much or too little, honestly. My doctor told me just dont let yourself feel thirsty and watch the urine colour. That settled my mind a lot.
I drink extra around my walks since doctor okayed light walking for me. Hydration really helped my energy levels. Roughly 3 litres works for me but everyone is different, ask your doc your number.
Actually I used to forget completely so I set phone reminders yaar. In Mumbai heat I was always thirsty anyway. Just keep sipping, your pee should be light not dark yellow.
I aimed for around 8-10 glasses a day, more in summers. Keep a bottle near you and sip through the day, easier than gulping a lot at once. Helps with constipation and that tired feeling too.
