I honestly forget to drink water through the day and then feel guilty. Not sure how many glasses is actually enough now that im pregnant. How much do u all aim for?
I felt so bloated initially that drinking water was hard, but my gynac said it's crucial for the baby's bag of water. I started setting hourly reminders on my phone to sip water. It really helped me keep up my energy.
Try to drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. If you find plain water boring, you can have fresh coconut water or buttermilk too. Keep yourself hydrated, dear.
Aim for at least 2.5 to 3 liters every single day. I kept a huge 1-liter bottle at my desk and made sure to finish it thrice. Hydration is key to avoiding UTIs and pre-term cramps, so don't slack off.
Since I was allowed to do light prenatal walks, I made sure to drink around 3 liters of water to compensate for the sweat. If your doctor has cleared you for light activity, definitely increase your water intake on those days.
I was so careful about hydration because my doctor told me it keeps the amniotic fluid levels healthy. I always aimed for around 10-12 glasses of filtered water. Please take care of yourself and drink enough.
