At my hospital, the nutritionist gave me a chart showing that 1-2 kgs weight gain is standard for the first trimester. They monitored my BMI at every visit and assured me that rapid weight gain isn't required yet. If you are concerned, definitely ask your dietitian at the clinic.
Honestly, in my first trimester, I actually lost 2 kgs because of severe morning sickness! My doctor told me not to worry, and now my toddler is running around super healthy. You typically only gain about 1 to 2 kgs in the first three months, so don't stress if the scale isn't moving much.
Actually yaar, first trimester weight gain is almost negligible, like 1-2 kgs max. Some of my friends didn't gain anything at all till month 4 because of food aversions. So chill, just eat healthy and don't compare your belly with others.
Generally, weight gain in the first trimester is very minimal, usually around 1-2 kgs, and some moms even lose weight due to nausea. Just focus on eating whatever you can digest and staying hydrated. The real weight gain starts from the second trimester anyway.
Don't worry about weight gain right now, baccha abhi bahut chota hai. Even if you gain nothing or lose a bit due to vomiting, it is totally fine. Just focus on taking your prenatal vitamins on time and staying relaxed.
