Im in my 5th month and have put on some weight already, everyone at home has an opinion lol. Just want to know roughly how much is healthy to gain overall. How much did u all gain?
Don't look at the scale too much, or you'll think you are carrying a baby elephant, haha! Usually, 10 to 15 kg is normal, but some of that is just baby, placenta, and a whole lot of water. Just enjoy your food and stay active!
Stop comparing your weight with others. A normal weight gain is around 10-12 kg, but it depends completely on your starting weight. As long as your gynac says baby's growth is fine, you don't need to stress about the numbers.
Ideally, doctors look for a 10-15 kg gain if your pre-pregnancy BMI was normal. With my busy work schedule, I just tracked my weight once a month during doctor visits and focused on high-protein quick snacks. Don't obsess over daily numbers.
I am hoping to conceive soon, and my doctor told me that gaining around 10-12 kg is very healthy during pregnancy. It's reassuring to know our bodies are built for this. Take care of your health!
My mother-in-law wanted me to eat double, but my doctor told me that we only need about 300 extra calories a day. A gain of 11 to 15 kg is standard. Trust what your gynac advises for your specific body type.
Beta, you are feeding a new life, so some weight gain is natural and healthy. Eat fresh ghee, milk, and dry fruits in moderation. Don't go on any diets now, just focus on baby's strength.
Ho na, weight gain ki chinta toh sabko hoti hai. Normally 10 se 15 kilo tak badhta hai, jo bilkul normal hai. Bas healthy ghar ka khana khao aur thoda walk kiya karo.
