Expect to go up at least one or two sizes as your body prepares for nursing. Since I had to return to work, I bought a couple of professional-looking but stretchy maternity bras early on. It saved me a lot of hassle and discomfort during long office hours.
Honestly, they grow quite a bit, so buying expensive brassieres right now is a waste of money. Just buy 2 comfortable cotton extender hooks or cheap non-wired feeding bras a size larger. They will easily last you through the pregnancy and breastfeeding months.
With my PCOS, my hormone fluctuations made my breast size change quite unpredictably. For some women, they grow by one or two cup sizes, while for others, there's barely any change. Don't worry if yours don't grow too much, it doesn't affect your milk supply later.
Oh, they definitely get much bigger and heavier! 🙈 I went up almost two cup sizes by the third trimester. Just embrace the new curves and get some super soft, seamless maternity bras for ultimate comfort! 💕
I am currently planning my pregnancy and I keep wondering about this too! Does the size change start right from the first month itself? I might need to declutter my current wardrobe well in advance.
