How often do you get an ultrasound during pregnancy?
First pregnancy so im not sure about the schedule. My gynac did one scan already at 8 weeks. Just wondering kitne scans usually happen in the whole 9 months. Anyone share their count?
Humare yahan doctor ne bas teen baar scan kiya tha—ek shuruat mein, ek paanchve mahine mein aur ek delivery se pehle. Sab thik tha toh jyada bar bar nahi bulaya.
According to my baby tracker app, standard scans are at 6-8 weeks (dating), 11-13 weeks (NT scan), 18-22 weeks (anomaly), and then growth scans in the 3rd trimester. It's so cool to track the baby's weekly milestones alongside these scans!
My premium hospital package had around 5 scans included, and the staff clearly explained the purpose of each one, like the NT scan and the growth scan. Just ask your hospital coordinator for a clear schedule so you are prepared.
I am newly married and hoping to conceive soon, so I've been reading about this. I think normally they do about 3 to 4 scans, like the dating scan, NT scan, and anomaly scan, which sounds so exciting.
Normally, 3 to 4 routine scans are enough if everything is fine, which helps keep the medical bills under budget. Avoid extra scans unless your doctor specifically advises, as they can add up to a lot of cost.
Because of my high-risk pregnancy, I had to get scans almost every month. It's strictly up to your doctor to decide the frequency based on how the baby is growing, so please follow their advice.
