My last scan showed a small cyst and gynac said its nothing to worry, just monitor karenge. But you know how the mind works, thoda tension stays. Did anyone here have a cyst and a smooth pregnancy?
Most cysts during pregnancy are functional corpus luteum cysts that support the pregnancy early on. Just keep up with your routine scans so your doctor can track its size.
I panicked so much when they found a cyst in my first ultrasound! But my gynac said it's very common and it actually dissolved on its own by the second trimester. Relax, it's usually fine.
I'm also planning my pregnancy and have a small cyst, so I've been reading up on this. Usually, small cysts don't affect the baby, but they do monitor them.
Having a PCOS history, I always had cysts. During pregnancy, my doctor monitored them closely. As long as your gynac is tracking it and there is no severe pain, you should be completely fine.
