Im so confused with all this weeks vs months thing. The doctor says im 8 weeks but my MIL counts it differently and now i dont know how far along i actually am. Can someone explain how months are actually counted? my head is spinning.
This confused me so much initially. Turns out they count from the first day of last period, so the weeks felt ahead of what I expected. My doc gave me a due date from that. Ask urs to explain, it cleared my head.

They count from ur last period date yaar, so technically u are already 2 weeks pregnant before u even conceive, funny na. Its about 40 weeks. Doctors talk in weeks more than months honestly.
