How quickly can you test for pregnancy?

We tried this cycle and i cant wait till period date honestly. Whats the earliest u can test and actually trust the result? Im so impatient na.

My MIL says wait at least a week after missed period for correct results, but modern kits are fast. Testing on the exact day of your missed period works well.
