Im in my 6th month and my back starts paining if i sit too long, especially at my desk. Sometimes i just slouch on the sofa without thinking. Want to know the right way to sit so it dosent strain my back, any tips?
Sit with your back well supported and feet flat, avoid slouching. Dont stay in one position too long, get up and move every hour. A cushion behind the lower back really helps as the bump grows.
My doctor suggested sitting upright with proper support and not staying seated too long. I did gentle stretches between sitting. Keep your posture good and take little walks if allowed.
I sat at a desk all day so I kept a small pillow for back support and took stretch breaks. Crossing legs for long made my feet swell, so I avoided that. Move around often, it really helps.
