How soon after conception can a pregnancy test be positive?

I think I know the day we conceived, but I am not sure when a kit can catch it. I tested once and got negative, maybe too early. How many days after conception did you get positive?

I learnt this the hard way, tested like 5 days after and got nothing, panicked, then it was positive after my missed period. So the wait really matters. Hang in there.

My doc said the hormone hcg takes time to build up, so usually a urine test turns positive around the time of your missed period, roughly 2 weeks after conception. A blood test at a lab can catch it a few days earlier. Testing before that often gives a false negative.

My app reminded me not to test before the missed period date. Home kits are most accurate from the day period is due. If u cant wait, a beta hcg blood test picks it up a touch earlier.

Best to wait till ur period is due, thats about two weeks after conception. Test too early and the line is too faint or negative even when u r pregnant. Morning urine gives the strongest result.

Dont test too soon yaar, it'll just stress u with a false negative. Wait for the missed period, then morning pee test. Thats the sweet spot.
