Hello everyone, my husband and I are trying to conceive. How soon after conception can a pregnancy test actually detect pregnancy accurately? Should I wait until my period is fully missed?
I took a test way too early and panicked when it was negative, but then got a clear positive after 5 days! Don't rush it, wait till your period is missed for accurate results.
Ugh, the waiting game is the worst, and trust me, 3rd trimester is even more tiring! But practically, wait at least until the day of your missed period, otherwise you'll just waste money on faint lines.
Peeing on a stick too early is just an invitation to overanalyze a shadow, haha! Give it at least 10-14 days after conception or wait for that missed period.
It's best to wait until your period is actually late by a day or two. While waiting, just focus on eating healthy, home-cooked food and stay away from too much sugar.
I am also trying and the wait is so hard. They say testing 12-14 days after ovulation or after a missed period gives the most accurate result, so let's keep fingers crossed.
