How soon after conception to take pregnancy test?

I think we conceived around my fertile days last week and now i just want to test already. But i dont want a false negative by testing too soon na. When did u all get an accurate result?

I get the urge to test immediately, I tested way too early and the negative made me cry for no reason. Honestly just wait till missed period, it saves so much heartache. Hang in there yaar.

My doctor said to wait around 10 to 14 days after conception, which usually lines up with your missed period. Testing earlier risks a false negative since hcg needs time to build. First morning pee gives the strongest reading.

I tried at like 8 days and got nothing, then a faint line at 12 days. So patience really matters here. Anyone else had to test twice to be sure?
