How soon after conception will a pregnancy test be positive?

Im trying for first time and so confused about when to actually test. I dont want to test too early and get disappointed. How many days after should i wait to get a proper result? pls share ur experience.

My doc said home tests detect hcg hormone, and it usually shows around the time of missed period, sometimes a few days after. If urine test is unclear a blood test (beta hcg) can confirm earlier and more accurately.

Wait for missed period then check, most accurate that way.

Best is to wait till ur period is missed, then test with morning urine. Testing too early gives faint or false negative. Both my pregnancies showed clear only after I missed by a day or two.

I tested 2 days before period due and it was so faint I wasnt sure. Did again after 3 days and it was dark. So yeah waiting little bit really helps, dont panic if first one is light.

I tested like 5 times coz I couldnt believe the early faint line lol. Honestly save urself the stress and wait few days after missed period. Use first morning pee, its stronger then.
