Had my hsg done last week as part of fertility checkup. Doc said tubes are clear thankfully. Now we are eager to start trying but not sure how long to wait. did anyone conceive soon after their hsg?
When I did my HSG the doctor told me which cycle to start trying and asked me to wait a bit. It varies person to person so I wouldnt go by what worked for someone else. Best to ask the doc who did your test.
My gynac said many women are actually advised to try in the same cycle right after HSG because the tubes get flushed. But she still confirmed it was okay for my specific case first. So please get a clear go ahead from your own doctor.
I am supposed to do my HSG next month so reading this is helpful. I was also wondering the same thing honestly. Will ask my doctor the timing too, thank u for posting this.
