How soon after intercourse can pregnancy be detected?
Its been about a week since and im already wondering if a test would show anything yet. I know its probably too early but the wait is killing me honestly. How soon after can it actually be picked up?
I was so impatient and tested like 5 days after, negative obviously. Then later it was positive. So we really have to wait till the period is missed na?
Not the next morning, thats for sure. Realistically u can test around when your period is due and missed. That gives the hormone enough time to show up. Testing earlier just stresses u out.
Quick answer, wait for the missed period then test, usually 2 to 3 weeks after. A blood test at the clinic can catch it slightly sooner if u really cant wait. But early home kits often just confuse.
My gynac explained it takes time, the egg has to fertilize and implant first which can be a week or more after. So a test only turns positive around your missed period, roughly 2 to 3 weeks after the intercourse. Testing next day is pointless she said.
Dont stress too much yaar, these things take their own time. Give it till your period is due, then a kit will tell u clearly. Until then just relax, overthinking wont speed it up.
