We are trying for our first and im so impatient yaar. Its only been like a week and i want to test already but dont know if its too early to show anything. how long did u wait?
My gynac explained pregnancy doesnt show right after, the egg has to fertilize and implant first, which takes about a week or more. So a home test only works reliably around the time your period is due. A blood test can catch it a few days earlier.
I made this mistake and tested like 4 days after, obviously negative and I cried for nothing. Then tested again after my missed period and it was positive. The wait is the hardest part honestly.
Yaar dont test the next morning, it wont show anything yet. Wait till your period is actually late, then check with morning urine. Try not to stress in between, easier said than done I know.
Testing the next day wont tell you anything, it takes time for implantation and hcg to build. You need to wait till around your missed period, roughly two to three weeks after, for a reliable result. Earlier is just disappointment.
