How soon can one test for pregnancy?

We are trying since this month and im honestly so impatient, period is still a week away. Dont want to test too early and get false hope. how early did u get an accurate result?

My doctor said the kit detects hcg which builds up after implantation, so usually a day after missed period gives a good reading. Some sensitive kits claim earlier but she said morning urine on missed day is most accurate.

Wait till your period is actually missed, thats when you get a reliable result. Testing too early just gives faint or false negative and more tension. I always waited at least a day after missed date.

I tested 3 days before my due period and it was negative, cried so much. Then on the missed day it was clearly positive. So timing really matters na?

I tested like 5 times in a week, basically funded the kit company single handedly. Honestly just wait for the missed period, saves money and your nerves both.
