Trying since last 2 months and im super impatient to know each time. How early can you actually find out, like before the period is even due? Curious what worked for others.
A home urine kit works best a few days after your missed period, that's when it gives a clear result. A blood test can catch it a bit earlier, around 8-10 days after ovulation. Testing too early just gives faint or wrong lines.
I tracked my cycle on an app so I knew exactly when my period was due. Tested 2 days after it was late and got a clear positive. Knowing your ovulation date really helps you time the test right.
I got so impatient and tested way too early and it showed negative, then later it was positive. Anyone else did this? I learnt it's better to wait till the period is actually missed, otherwise you just stress yourself.
So just to be clear, is the morning urine more accurate for early testing? I've heard first pee of the day has more hormone. Asking because I'm in this exact wait right now.
The earlier you test the more chance of a false negative, so don't rush. Wait for the missed period and use first morning urine. If symptoms are there but kit says no, repeat after 2-3 days.
