Im like 7 weeks and i feel my areolas are getting darker already, or maybe im imagining it. Is it too soon for this change na? Just curious when others noticed it happening.
From what I've seen, it varies a lot but typically appears early in pregnancy, sometimes even around 6-8 weeks. It's due to hormonal changes, mainly estrogen, stimulating melanin. Nothing to worry about at all, it's part of the process.
Haan, that darkening is normal. It's just a hormonal thing. But generally, if you have any sudden or extreme changes, always discuss it with your gynac, especially if you have other underlying conditions like thyroid. Regular check-ups are key to stay healthy.
I remember noticing changes like that. For me, it was around the end of the first trimester, but for some, it can be much earlier. Every pregnancy is unique, especially after what we go through. Just keep observing and trust your body, it's doing amazing things.
Mine started darkening pretty quickly, I'd say within the first 6-8 weeks. It's just another symptom, like morning sickness or fatigue. Focus on your prenatal vitamins and appointments, this is just a cosmetic change and totally normal.
My areola also darkened quite early on, I think it was maybe second month only. It's just one of those pregnancy changes, you'll see many more! Don't worry about it too much, it's totally normal.
Areola darkening, haan, that's pretty common. Usually, it starts in the first trimester only, like around 6-8 weeks for many. Don't worry if it's not super dark yet, it'll get there. It's just hormones doing their thing.
Aww, this makes me remember my pregnancy days! Yes, the darkening of areola is so real. Mine started quite early, like almost instantly after I found out I was pregnant. It's a beautiful sign your body is changing for your baby.
