How soon should i take a pregnancy test?

We tried this cycle and im in that horrible waiting phase now. Tempted to test already but dont want to waste kits on a too early negative. how many days should i wait to get a reliable answer?

My doctor said the hormone needs about 10-14 days after ovulation to show, so the missed period mark is the sweet spot. If you really cant wait, atleast use first morning urine and retest in a few days if negative.

My app reminded me to test 14 days after ovulation and it was spot on. If your cycle is regular thats an easy way to time it right.

Ideally after your missed period. Earlier than that isnt very reliable.

I tested like 5 times too early and drove myself crazy with faint lines. Honestly just wait for the missed period, save yourself the panic. I wish someone had told me that.

Wait till your period is at least a day late, thats when its reliable. Testing too soon just gives faint lines and confusion. Both times I waited and got clear results first go.
