How soon will a blood test detect pregnancy?

We are trying and im too impatient to wait for my period to be late lol. Just wondering how early a blood test can actually pick it up. Anyone got an accurate result before their missed period?

Blood test is the earliest and most accurate. Go for beta hcg.

Blood test picks up hcg pretty early, even before a urine test, around 8 to 10 days after ovulation usually. I did beta hcg both times because it gives a clear number. Just go to a lab your gynac trusts.

Blood beta hcg is more sensitive than home kits and can detect it a few days sooner. But honestly your gynac will tell you the right day to test based on your cycle. Testing too early can give a false negative.
